Wakefield Jazz presents Rod Mason & the 007 All Star Band, delivering Bond themes with A View to a Thrill and festive favourites with Goldfinger-snapping swing.
Rod Mason (the club’s very own Man with the Golden Sax) leads a top-secret team: James Lancaster (NY Brass Band) on trumpet (From New York with Love), Derrick Harris on guitar (License to Shred), Andrzej Baranek on piano (The Spy Who Played Me), Paul Chamberlain on bass (Low Notes Are Forever), and Paul Smith on drums (Quantum of Solos).
And in the second set, the dazzling Jenny Smith takes the mic to unleash Nobody Does It Better – with Christmas sparkle on the side.
So grab your tux, sip your martini, and enjoy The Sound of Swing Never Dies.
