Welcome to the Wakefield Mela! Super summer time fun for people in Wakefield to soak up the sounds, smells and culture of South Asia.
Join in this community Mela to celebrate the richness of South Asian food, music, and colours with performers, inflatables, stalls, food vans, crafts and much, much more!
Setting the good vibes will be performances from
- 🎧 DJs: Asif K, H Dhami and Tariq K
- 🎵 Music: Gur Prem Pandori, Hasan, Qaiser Mahmood, Joga and Ranbir Daskai
- 💃 Dancers: Shivani, Tannu, Sushmita and Sasha
So bring along a picnic blanket and enjoy the day!
Wakefield Mela is being held at Sandal Magna Community Academy Fields, entry through Appletree Allotments (WF1 5AE).
