Attention all model railway enthusiasts – Wakefield Railway Modellers’ Society are proud to present their 62nd Annual Model Railway Show!
Step into a world of intricate detail and engineering marvels with over 20 stunning layouts showcasing British, Continental, and American railway models across all the popular scales. Whether you’re a seasoned modeller or a fascinated newcomer, there’s something to inspire everyone.
Expect excellent trade stalls covering a wide range of ready to run, kit and accessories as well as opportunity to stock up on modelling supplies. Plus meet a range of railway related societies as well as demonstrators covering a range of modelling subjects and techniques.
And don’t forget you can get behind the controls and drive Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends, with all donations going to the Society’s nominated charity Wakefield Hospice.
The venue, Queen Elizabeth Grammar School Sports Centre (WF1 3QX), is level access and there is on site catering and car parking.
There are over 700 additional car park spaces within easy walking distance of the venue.
Tickets
Adult tickets £10 with each paying adult entitled to bring up to 2 children (0 to 17 years old) free of charge.
Unaccompanied children 11 to 17 £2. Carers free when accompanying a fee paying person.
