Whether you’re a fan of timeless plays or just looking for a fun day out, the Wakespeare Festival Day is the culmination of the Wakespeare project which has seen Wakefield District residents reimagining the Bard’s tales all with a Wakey District twist!


You’ll see classic Shakespeare scenes reimagined in different ways, plus learn about how Empath Theatre are ensuring that the legacy of Wakespeare helps schools and libraries in our district teach Shakespeare for many years to come!
