Art loving dogs are welcome almost everywhere in the parkland and woodlands at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, where world-class sculptures sit amongst rolling countryside and historic landscape.

After stretching their legs on the trails, stop off at The Kitchen Café or The Coffee Shop at the Visitor Centre, or The Café at YSP Learning, where four-legged visitors are welcome too. On sunny days, treat your canine companion to a Scoops dog ice cream from The Café at YSP Learning and enjoy it together on the terrace before continuing your sculpture-filled adventure

To protect livestock and wildlife, dogs aren’t permitted around Upper Lake or Menagerie Wood, but alternative routes are clearly signposted so neither of you misses out on exploring this unique outdoor gallery.

Nostell, National Trust offers acres of beautiful parkland to explore, making it a fantastic destination for dogs and their favourite humans to enjoy a day out together. Well-behaved dogs are welcome throughout most of the estate, with plenty of open space for walks amongst historic landscapes, woodland and lakeside views.

Dogs can be let off the lead under close control in much of the parkland and enjoy a run around the dedicated dog exercise area, while short leads are required in busier spots such as the courtyard, around the Lower Lake and in fields where cattle are grazing.

After all that exploring, head to the rear section of the Courtyard Café, where dogs are welcome to relax while their owners enjoy a well-earned drink or bite to eat.
