The open market can be found here on Mondays, Thursdays, Friday and Saturdays and there is access to Carlton Lanes Shopping Centre and the Market Hall, both of which are open Monday to Saturday. Castleford Precinct is also home to numerous exciting events throughout the year, including the Roman Festival and the Christmas Lights Switch On.
