Plus, Hemsworth Library offers a programme of free or low-cost activities for all ages, including Knit and Natter, weekly Coffee Mornings and Storytime for the under 5s.


This venue is talking part in Wakefield Council’s Seed Collection campaign for 2023! To take part, collect any conkers, acorns, sweet chestnuts, and beech nuts that you see on the ground or on the trees, and then drop your collected seeds into the seed bin.
