Born from a road trip across America’s Southern States, Hickory’s in Horbury learnt the craft of barbecue from some of the region’s most respected pitmasters. Inspired by those experiences, Hickory’s Smokehouse brings together slow-cooked flavours, carefully prepared dishes and a welcoming team who pride themselves on genuine Southern hospitality.

New Menu Has Arrived!

Hickory’s has been busy behind the scenes, and their latest menu brings a fresh mix of flavours to the table. Inspired by their latest travels through the Southern States, you’ll discover a new line-up of dishes and drinks alongside the Hickory’s favourites you already know and love.

From lighter bites to plates made for sharing, there’s even more to choose from – perfect for everything from laid-back lunches to long sociable meals, and those get-togethers that turn into something worth celebrating.

Brunch has also had a shake-up with some brand new dishes, offering even more ways to start the day. And with warmer days ahead, a range of seasonal dishes has been added, bringing the flavours of Spring and Summer to the Smokehouse.

Ready for some new Southern sips? The bar team have been shakin’ things up. Expect easy-drinking favourites, fresh flavours and the kind of serves guests will want to keep in hand all season long. Whether stopping by for one or settling in for a while, there is plenty to sip, savour and come back for more.

Let’s Brunch

Brunch has got to be the most fun and certainly the most sociable meal of the day. There are few things more enjoyable than a long leisurely meal eating great food with your favourite people. The Americans seem to understand this more than most, and the Southern States in particular make it a real event. Hickory’s brunch menu has something for everyone, from Southern States to twists on classics, plus a couple of stacked showstoppers. Paired with a freshly brewed ‘Cup of Joe’, iced coffees or sweet teas, start your day the Hickory’s way!

A Taste of the South

Authenticity is absolutely key at Hickory’s, and that starts with the smokers. Anything good is worth waiting for, right? Ole Hickory smokers from Missouri and Southern Pride smokers from Tennessee are set right at the heart of the restaurants.

The Smokehouse selection is cooked low and slow, bringing out deep, authentic flavours inspired by the American South.

It takes more than a smoker to make the meat fall-off-the-bone tender. It is the skill and passion of the pitmasters, all trained in the art of barbecue, that makes the difference. At Hickory’s, there is a saying: “Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear aprons.” The pitmasters are the heroes.

The Smokehouse menu celebrates exactly this. Think BBQ trays made for sharing, platters for when guests want a bit of everything, and traditional authentic staples found in Smokehouses across the States.

Not in the mood for smoked? No problem. With a wider choice of dishes, there is something for everyone to get stuck into with families and friends, and for those “I can’t decide” kind of moments.

Smokin’ Deals

Midweek just got a whole lot tastier, because Hickory’s are giving you even more time to get stuck into their Smokin’ Deals! That’s right, the weekday line-up will now be available from 12PM Monday to Thursday. Dig into a not-to-miss exclusive dish inspired by the Smokehouse and beyond. Each day brings something different, giving you even more reasons to swing by.

From The Bar

Whether it’s after-work drinks, pre-dinner cocktails or just a laid-back sip, Hickory’s neighbourhood bar is the place to be.

From homemade sodas and freakshakes to frozen and signature cocktails, Southern-inspired spritz and a full spirit selection, there is something for every taste. There is also a full range of ice-cold beers and over 25 bourbons collected on trips across the States.

Thank Hicks It’s Friday

What better way to celebrate the end of the week and say “Thank Hicks it’s Friday” than listening to the sounds of the Deep South with a drink (or two) in hand!
