About

Curl up with a good book at Horbury library! Situated in a beautiful sandstone building, the library will have you feeling inspired before you’ve even stepped through the doors.

Once inside, you’ll have access to a wide range of books and reference materials, as well as free wifi, computers with internet access, and printing and scanning facilities.

And with a comprehensive children’s section (from toddler to teenager) and a programme of weekly activities for all ages, there’s something to keep everyone happy!

There is a car park available at the rear of the library.

This venue is talking part in Wakefield Council’s Seed Collection campaign for 2023! To take part, collect any conkers, acorns, sweet chestnuts, and beech nuts that you see on the ground or on the trees, and then drop your collected seeds into the seed bin.
