It is a Family Fun Day starting with a Parade throughout the Town which includes appearances by the Yorkshire Volunteer Band, Minions, Fairies, Mirror Men, The local Scooter Club, a Beach buggy club, Stilt Walkers, Baby Lion Dancers and a selection of local groups.
This is then followed by a fantastic day at the local park consisting of various charity stalls, Food Outlets, Fair Ground Rides, Performances throughout the day, a Rugby match for the local Featherstone Lionesses Under 12’s, School Sports and a special appearance from Britain’s Got Talent Semi-Finalists Dinomania who will be putting on a selection of talks throughout the day.
The Mayor of Featherstone will be holding a stall consisting of a raffle and merchandise available to purchase all in aid of his chosen charity the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. He will also, along with other Civic heads from surrounding Towns, will be judging a Fancy Dress Competition
Car parking is limited and due to the event being held in the Local park there will be some uneven flooring in places.
