About

The Ackworth Gala is an annual event that was originally set up in 1977 for the Queens Silver Jubilee and has been running ever since. 


Organised by Ackworth Parish Council, the gala offers fun, free activities and entertainment for the whole community including magicians, live music, table football and a bouncy castle!
