Ever wondered what goes on inside that big grey building, West Yorkshire History Centre in Wakefield?
Come and find out during Heritage Open Days as they take you behind the scenes into the conservation studio and strong rooms which are packed with archive treasures from across the county, and find out how the team store and care for the documentary heritage of West Yorkshire.
There will also be some archives on display exploring ‘everyday histories’, the theme of this years Heritage Open Days
