Following their victory at the Yorkshire Regional Brass band Championships, Black Dyke Band will be bringing their high-calibre brass band performances to Wakefield Cathedral for a memorable evening of exceptional music.
The Black Dyke Band is a world-renowned brass band hailing from the village of Queensbury, West Yorkshire, England. Formed in 1855, the band has a rich history and unparalleled musical legacy, having won numerous prestigious competitions and accolades over the decades. With a sound described as “powerful, majestic, and full of emotion,” the band performs a diverse repertoire, from classical masterpieces to contemporary compositions.
