Join Open Country (Charity No. 1107331), the award-winning charity helping disabled people to access and enjoy the countryside, for a canalside makrame session. Open Country run a wide variety of activities in Wakefield, including hiking, wheelchair walks, nature work parties and tandem cycling. They offer pick-ups in their accessible minibus to disabled people close to central Wakefield. Get in touch for a full programme of events.

This one-off event will be a makrame session weaving hanging baskets for people with disabilities at The Navigation Inn, with professional artist Ruth Fones.
