Join in celebrating Earth Day at Appletree Community Garden! Fancy connecting with nature this spring? Whether you have a garden or an indoor space, learn how to sow a range of seeds to help you cultivate your own green patch on a budget, reduce your environmental footprint, and contribute to a healthier, more sustainable world.


To keep you warm, the team will be serving a free buffet breakfast, comprising a tasty array of dishes from Wakefield’s diverse cultural communities. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn the art of making a wonderfully aromatic and flavourful traditional Syrian tea, shared with us by our Syrian friends.
