Eid in the Park

Wakefield’s British Muslim charity, Penny Appeal, is set to hold another Eid in the Park Extravaganza at Thornes Park!

This multicultural family fun day offers a wide range of activities for all ages, including exciting funfair rides, bungee jumping and plenty of attractions to keep everyone entertained.

A variety of food stalls will be available, alongside delicious BBQ and Mr. Immy’s Ice Cream vans. Visitors can also enjoy live Qawwali music, browse shopping stalls and experience traditional Mehndi.

Families can explore educational stalls, while younger visitors will have the chance to get up close to emergency services vehicles.

Eid in the Park really is a family fun day for all!
