Come and play in The Hepworth Wakefield Garden.
Stack, build, experiment, draw and imagine with your family in the open air. Be inspired by the artworks and plants, the weather and buildings around you.
No need to book, just turn up and play!
Garden Play was developed in collaboration with children and staff from The Castle Nursery, artist Steph Jefferies and architects Studio Polpo with support from the Liz and Terry Bramall Foundation.
Garden Play will return in April for the Easter school holidays.
Takes place every Saturday and Sunday during term time / Every day in the Wakefield school holidays, 11am – 4pm.
Suitable for families with children aged 0 – 12 years old.
Please note
Participation in Garden Play is on a on a first-come, first-served basis and families may have to wait to take part at busy times. Children must be accompanied at all times. Maximum of three children per adult.
Gazebos are put up on rainy days but please dress appropriately for the weather. Bring a change of clothes in case your child gets messy or wet. Toilets, hand washing and baby changing facilities are available inside the gallery building.
