Meet George Webster – The Inspiring CBeebies Star and BAFTA Winner!


George Webster is a 23-year-old BAFTA award-winning TV presenter, actor, author and dancer from Leeds. He made history when he became the first CBeebies presenter with Down Syndrome, quickly becoming a beloved fixture on the channel.


George’s incredible achievements and positive impact have earned him widespread acclaim. In 2022, he was named one of the Radio Times’ most influential TV personalities and won a prestigious BAFTA for Best Children’s TV Presenter. He also appeared on the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special, which was widely celebrated as a groundbreaking moment for disability representation.


Beyond his screen work, George is a passionate advocate for inclusion and inspiring others. He has read from his popular children’s books, at prestigious literary festivals, empowering audiences to embrace their unique talents. George is also an ambassador for organisations like Mencap, Yorkshire Dance, and Parkrun.
