About

Sit back and enjoy an afternoon with author Joanne Harris. Joanne will be speaking about the inspirations and challenges of being an author in Yorkshire, her broader career, and how to inspire others to explore their creativity in words.

Joanne Harris, OBE, FRSL, the internationally celebrated author of over 20 novels (including the bestseller Chocolat, which became a film in 2000 starring Juliette Binoche and Johnny Depp), plus screenplays, libretti and short fiction, will talk about her adventures in the writing business, and the unique challenges, joys and opportunities – of being a writer in Yorkshire.
