If you’ve been looking for an excuse to buy a new outfit then look no further! The glitz and glamour returns to Pontefract on Wednesday 9th August. With an array of hats, fascinators and stilettos, the ladies of Yorkshire really do ‘dress to impress’ in an effort to win the coveted Best Dressed Lady Competition.

For another year the competition has kindly been sponsored by RIU Hotels and Resorts, and the Best Dressed Lady could see themselves jetting off on holiday!

With excellent views of the course from all of the enclosures, the option of private boxes and hospitality packages, a selection of dining delights and drink outlets, it really is a great way to spend the day!

Gates will be opened from 12pm with the first race likely to be around 2pm (timings will be confirmed nearer the race meeting).

Make sure to book your tickets for Ladies Day in advance via the Pontefract Racecourse website. Under 18’s go free.
