Lamb Feeding Experience

Join Horncastle Farm for a unique and memorable lamb feeding experience, where you can bottle feed some adorable lambs.

Feeding times are 10am, 1pm and 4pm.

Sessions run daily between February and April – tickets are released frequently so be sure to follow Horncastle Farm on social media.

The price includes Lamb Bottle Feeding for one person only (young children may have one accompanying adult to help them). A ticket is required for all who wish to partake in the bottle feeding. A bottle feeding ticket allows for one observer to enter the barn with those taking part in bottle feeding. Any additional family members wishing to accompany a child into the lamb feeding barn can do so but must have a ticket.

Family members who do not wish to enter the barn are still able to see our other animals and visit the café – no ticket is required for this.

What’s included:

• You’ll visit lambing shed where you will have the chance to get to know the lambs, with plenty of photo opportunities.
• You will help prepare the bottles before feeding one of the hand reared lambs.
• The experience will last around 60 minutes.
• A certificate to say you have bottle fed one of the lambs.
• Opportunity to meet and feed our goats, chickens, cows and pigs (food can be purchased at an additional cost).

Please note that Horncastle Farm is a working farm and the yard can be muddy from time to time so it’s recommended to wear old clothes and boots especially if you are lamb feeding – just in case an accident happens as lambs can be a little messy!

The Coffee Baa will be open during your visit (this is underneath a barn) serving hot and cold drinks, sweet treats and merchandise will be available to purchase.

If you are pregnant it is not advised that you participate in this activity, contact with lambs and lambing sheep during pregnancy can put you and your unborn baby at risk.
