Lamb, Goat & Calf Feeding Experience

Join Horncastle Farm for a unique and memorable animal feeding experience, where you can bottle feed some adorable lambs, goats or calves, in small and managed groups.

Feeding times are 9:30am, 12:30pm and 4pm.

What’s Included

• Time to get to know the lambs, goats or calves, with plenty of photo opportunities
• The chance to help prepare bottles before feeding one of the hand-reared animals
• Small animal handling, craft station and bouncy castle (weather permitting)
• A relaxed, staff-led experience lasting approximately 30 minutes (SEND / under-4s sessions may be slightly shorter)

You’ll also have the opportunity to meet other animals living on the farm.

SEND & Under-4s Sessions

SEND and Under-4s sessions are offered as part of the standard feeding experiences and are clearly labelled when booking.

These sessions:

• Run with fewer participants
• Are slightly shorter than standard sessions
• Are designed to be calmer and more predictable

To support families, each SEND / Under-4s ticket includes up to two observers to accompany the participant into the barn.

Please note that Horncastle Farm is a working farm and the yard can be muddy from time to time so it’s recommended to wear old clothes and boots.

The café will be open throughout the day, serving food, drinks, sweet treats and merchandise.

PLEASE NOTE:

If you are pregnant it is not advised that you participate in this activity, contact with lambs and lambing sheep during pregnancy can put you and your unborn baby at risk.
