About
Explore slab building techniques with clay to create your own ceramic bug house or hotel for the garden or outside space. You’ll build your own box and then decorate it with coloured slips and small details which will be perfect for little insects and minibeasts!
All work will be fired through The Art House‘s kiln and will be available to collect approximately 3 weeks after the session.
This workshop is for children aged 7-11.
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is for children aged 7-11. Due to capacity within the workshop parents/guardians are encouraged to enjoy a drink and a slice of cake from The Art House Coffee House whilst their child attends the session!
Do I need to bring anything?
Please make sure children wear clothes which don’t matter if they get a little mucky! All materials will be provided.
