Celebrate Learning Disability Week at Wakefield Museum with a relaxed opening and object handling session!


Join the team to touch and hold real museum objects. The friendly staff can answer your questions.


This will be a relaxed opening session. This means that any loud noises will be turned down or turned off. It will not be busy and you can be yourself.


There will be fidget and sensory objects to help you relax. There is an extra quiet space if you need it.


You can also try our activity sheets and crafts.


Everybody is welcome. You do not need to book. You can just turn up.
