Join The Wakefield and North of England Tulip Society for their Small Show, following their Annual Show the week before, where you can see unique and rare tulips on display!
The society dates from at least 1836 and is one of the oldest florists’ societies in the UK and the only society dedicated to growing and exhibiting Tulips. English Florists’ Tulips are one of a handful of traditional florists’ flowers raised purely for their decorative qualities. During the show these flowers will be displayed most effectively in plain brown beer bottles, either as single blooms or in group classes.
The show is open to the public in the afternoon so come along for a lovely afternoon to enjoy these amazing flowers!
