When Henry Bolingbroke was crowned King Henry IV in October 1399, Pontefract became a Royal castle. Discover more about Henry and his connections with Pontefract, and how he would use the castle as his base to confront the many Northern rebellions that would challenge his reign.
This talk is for adults (16+) and is free; however, booking is recommended as places are limited.
Please be aware this event will take place in the Visitor Centre at Pontefract Castle.
