To celebrate Yorkshire Day, join a walking tour of sculptures at Yorkshire Sculpture Park by world-famous artists Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth – both born in the Wakefield District.
Hepworth and Moore forever changed art and are recognised as leading artists of the 20th century. Both were very inspired by the landscapes of their youth, from industrial town and cities to beautiful and dramatic natural scenes. The tour is led by YSP’s Associate Director of Programme, Helen Pheby, herself born and raised in Wakefield.
