Highfield Forge is a blacksmith workshop in Horbury, that hosts a variety of exciting metal-based workshops.

Always fancied creating your own axe or rustic knife? You can do that here, under the friendly and knowledgeable instruction of blacksmith Andy.

And that’s not all – previous events have included hammer making, a forge experience day, and even sword-making! If you’re the chef at home, why not forge your own Damascus knife to really take your prep up a notch?

Blacksmithing is a dwindling art, and by booking onto these courses you are not only learning a historic craft, but helping to keep it alive.
