Horbury Lagoon is a 5-acre fishing water with an average depth of 7 metres. Developed from an old gravel pit, this lagoon is home to stunning carp to over 20 lbs, pike to over 20 lbs, tench to 7 lbs and bream to 10 lbs.
Access to Horbury Lagoon is down Engine Lane, Horbury Junction. The water lies between the M1 motorway, the Railway and the River Calder.
Horbury Lagoon is also the perfect spot for a walk, with paths around the water alongside the river Calder. Dogs will love the plentiful opportunity to dive into the water mid-walk, plus there’s a large grassy area for them to run around to dry off after.
