The place to play Golf! Pontefract & District Golf Club has an excellent and challenging 18 hole Golf course located just a short walk from Pontefract Park.
Guests can relax in the clubhouse, which is split into the 19th and a large dining area which share an outdoor terrace overlooking the putting green and 18th.
Pontefract and District Golf Club prides itself on its wonderful history having been formed in 1904 and at the same time takes positive steps to try and embrace the best parts of the modern world of golf.
Beginners are welcome, as are juniors and there is a group session for juniors every Saturday during the season.
