Wakefield Music Collective introduces Clarence Park Festival 2024 – Yorkshire’s longest running free music festival!
The original Yorkshire DIY, grass roots festival. No nonsense and eclectic, Clarence Park Festival has strived to push boundaries throughout the years with diverse line ups and different ideas every year. No one does it better than Wakefield Music Collective. They bring you 22 bands that are local, national and often international. Many previously unknown bands have gone on to become Wakefield favourites, become signed by a label and also come back to play at various different gigs after their appearance at Clarence.
Bringing an eclectic mix of musical styles, local DJs, a bar, delicious food and craft, clothing and jewellery stalls, the festival starts at 12 noon each day – get there early as the hill gets busy!
Bring your family and friends and you can bring your own food and drink if you wish. There are programmes to buy, and you can order t-shirts if you wish to have a physical memory of the event.
All are welcome at the fantastic free Clarence Park Festival which is etched in the calendars of local people.
There is parking at the arena on Lawfield Lane.
