The Easter Dragon Egg Hunt at Pontefract Castle is back for another year, and better than ever! Help Ilbert the Dragon find all his eggs on a special trail. Join in with different dragon activities throughout the week, including craft activities, storytelling and games.


Dress up and spread your wings with Ilbert on the Great Big Dragon Parade – come in your own dragon outfit or make a dragon mask onsite! With something different every day, it’s sure to be ‘eggcellent’, plus lots of our activities, including the trail, are free!


The Pontefract Castle team will also be running SEND families sessions during the week for those families who prefer a more relaxed atmosphere with restricted numbers.
