In the Terrace Studio there will be free activities for all ages including, making your own rhubarb brooch and activity sheets.

Mini Printmaking Workshop
Join The Art House for an informal rhubarb printing workshop!
A member of the team will be leading a fun and creative printing session where you can get use a range of colourful paints to create your own rhubarb artwork.

Learn about Rhubarb
Meet Gardener in residence, Hannah Whitfield, to learn about the process of growing and planting, alternative planting, and the different uses for rhubarb. Hannah will be at the front of the building at the urban orchard.

A fine dining experience to celebrate the start of the forced rhubarb season.

RHUBARBFEST @ Rainbow Playrooms
Join Rainbow Playrooms for learning through play with a theme that celebrates our city as we ‘go down to the farm’! Children will learn through farm-based role play, dressing up, story and song. With rhubarb treats and drinks for everyone too it’s fun for the whole family.
£5 – For children aged 0 – 4 years. Bluelight, NHS, Childminders and Foster carers receive 20% off admission. Free admission for Max card holders.

RHUBARB ROCKS
Wakefield Music Collective presents RHUBARB ROCKS featuring GUNLAW rock band.
Venue: The HOP, Bank Street, Wakefield.

West Yorkshire based band playing modern rock covers to audiences throughout the UK & Europe. Mega popular on the biker scene and rock festivals nationally. If you want to rock out on a Saturday night this band is a must see.
