Join Wakefield Historical Society for the launch of a brand new book all about life in Scotts Yard, Wakefield from the 1930s.
This memoir traces a family and the hardships of their everyday life in Scotts Yard off Westgate until the yard was demolished as part of mid-20th century slum clearance policies.
A short talk about the content of the book will be followed by an opportunity to purchase the book.
