Venues across the Wakefield district from 18 October until 1 November are celebrating WordFest, Wakefield Libraries’ annual festival for words in all their forms. This year’s theme is Myths and Legends and there will be lots of fun and maybe even a few spooky goings on with a range of free activities throughout the festival including performances for families, workshops for children and adults, author events, games and much more.  So, head over to  www.wakefield.gov.uk/libraries-and-local-history/wordfest to find out about all the great things coming soon.
