About
Stitching Friendships is a new display in Wakefield Museum, created with the Refugee Council.
The display shares the stories of a group of refugee women, told through handsewn and embroidered pieces. Discover the challenging journeys these women made to their new home, and the skills, confidence and friendships they have made by being part of the Refugee Council’s sewing group.
The interpretation in this display is in English, Arabic and Dari.
