Jock’s Cavern is located underneath Buffalo Bobs in Wakefield – so why not come and enjoy a drink with us after your meal!
There’s always something going on here, including the best in live music and entertainment.
Jocks Cavern is named after a local mining legend Jack Atkinson. Jock was a big grafter but was also a family man with a big heart. Jock was known to enjoy a drink after a tough shift and would wind down occasionally with a tot of Jack Daniels but more favourably with a glass of Glayva liqueur.
Jock never did get round to opening his last bottle of Glayva that he bought and it has remained un opened for over 20 years. It is now standing proudly on display in the cavern as a testimony to this highly admired local icon.
