Recent Beans coffee roasters are based at Queen’s Mill, Castleford in West Yorkshire.
Sitting on the banks of the River Aire, the Queen’s Mill was once thought to be the largest stone grinding mill in the world but is now home to various local business and community events.
Recent Beans believe coffee is a fresh product and should be treated like one. Coffee beans taste good for two months after roasting but in the first two weeks a great coffee tastes magical. Some coffee beans can spend months or years on a shelf before being consumed.
Their coffee is roasted the morning after they receive your order and is posted that afternoon, that’s what sets them apart.
