The Polka Hop is a family and dog friendly, music loving, real ale pub near the heart of Wakefield.
Alongside a changing selection of regular and guest ales on the wickets and in the fridge, The Polka Hop’s new bar menu includes a good supply of pies and a fantastic cheeseboards – all of which include vegan and veggie options.
The Polka Hop is also home to regular music events and Wakefield’s bimonthly Artwalk. Regular events include:
- Ric Neale’s Monochrome – Ric Neale invites a very different, very special guest to perform each month, pay-as-you-feel. 1st Wednesday of each month starting at 8pm.
- Dave Song & Tune Sessions – all welcome, bring an instrument and join in. 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month from 2pm.
