How to Starve an Artist is a poetry show that blows open ideas about creative nourishment.

Award-winning Canadian poet (and food lover!) Rose Condo explores feeding one’s inner artist, whilst preparing and serving food to the audience in the Walker Studio of the Theatre Royal Wakefield. Audience members receive ‘Starving Artist Kits’ to help inspire individual creative activity. The show also features a special guest performance by acclaimed poet, Simone Yasmin.

This show was Runner Up Best Spoken Word show with the Saboteur Awards and has toured around the UK and to Canada.
