Are you ready to experience the wonder of The Hatchling?
This ground-breaking outdoor theatrical performance will unfold over a weekend of events and culminates in an extraordinary finale of spectacle and flight. Our beautiful visitor hatches, builds herself a nest and then attempts to take to the skies in a bid for her freedom.
Along the way she explores the area, and as she roams, she encounters a series of events: from intimate interactions to city-wide performances.
At the end of her journey our hatchling will undergo an incredible metamorphosis, unfurl her wings, and attempt to soar over Pugneys Country Park as the sun sets.
The Hatchling is created by the award-winning creative team at Trigger in collaboration with a leading design team specialising in puppetry, kites and immersive theatre.
This visit will mark The Hatchling’s third ever outing and its second ever flight, having made its world premiere in Plymouth in 2021.
